I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, with a specialization in hardware engineering, from the University of Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University, Canada, focusing on real-time/high-performance computer architectures.
During my undergraduate studies, I served as a teaching assistant for nearly two years, mentoring over 500 students across seven distinct courses. For my final project, I developed a wearable healthcare monitoring system that could benefit patients grappling with chronic lung diseases. I have also participated in a research project centred on design-space exploration for FPGA-based system design.
My academic pursuits are driven by a keen interest in digital system design and its practical applications, such as computer architecture and healthcare technology. My previous experiences have largely revolved around FPGA-based system design using Verilog and VHDL, and I find great satisfaction in exploring reconfigurable architectures. I have also worked with software programming languages like Embedded C, Python, C++, and C#.
At McMaster, my primary focus revolves around various facets of multi-core RISC-V SoCs for real-time systems, encompassing the HDL design of memory controllers and cache systems. Additionally, I've contributed as a teaching assistant across diverse courses, spanning embedded systems and digital system design.
